TIG Welder

Job Description

As a TIG Welder/Fabricator, you'll take components from fabrication through assembly and help ensure the finished product meets our quality standards.
You'll:
Perform TIG welding on fabricated components and assemblies Perform MIG welding as needed Measure, fit, and prepare components for accurate fabrication and welding Drill, tap, bend, grind, sand, cut, braze, and polish materials Operate plasma cutters, torches, grinders, drills, and other fabrication equipment Complete sub-assemblies and final product assembly Inspect your work for quality, accuracy, and consistency Assist with testing completed products Maintain tools and equipment and report needed repairs or unsafe conditions Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Follow established safety procedures and OSHA requirements Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, productivity, and efficiency Support other production areas when needed Take pride in your craftsmanship and care about the quality of your finished work Pay close attention to measurements, fit, finish, and details Are dependable and take ownership of getting the job done Can stay focused and productive without needing constant supervision Enjoy solving hands-on fabrication problems Value doing something correctly—not simply doing it quickly Follow processes while still looking for better ways to get the job done Keep your workspace and equipment organized Work well independently and as part of a team Put safety and quality first TIG welding experience required MIG welding and metal fabrication experience preferred Ability to produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds Experience using common fabrication tools and equipment Ability to accurately measure, fit, and fabricate components Strong attention to detail Commitment to quality and safety Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic If you enjoy walking away at the end of the day knowing you built something well, this could be a great fit.
