Job Description

Job Description Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our custom metal fabrication team. You would be responsible for performing high-quality welding and painting tasks to create custom metal products according to product specifications. This role requires expertise in welding techniques along with a commitment to safety, precision, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding Tasks :
Perform welding on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, to fabricate custom components. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication. Cut, fit, and assemble metal parts using appropriate tools and techniques. Inspect welds for quality, ensuring they meet structural and aesthetic standards.
General Duties :
Operate and maintain fabrication tools and equipment, such as welders, grinders. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Assist in quality control checks and final inspections of fabricated products. Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a welder in a metal fabrication or similar environment. Proficiency in MIG and/or stick welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Familiarity with a variety of metals and their properties. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and work in various conditions. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding operations. Valid welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required. Experience with custom metal fabrication is a plus.
Work Environment:
Full-time position with potential for overtime. Work is performed in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals (proper PPE provided). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. How to
