Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and parts, supporting various construction and industrial projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of materials and advanced fabrication techniques in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to ensure accurate production. Perform welding using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, bending, and assembling sheet metal, pipe, and other metal materials utilizing plasma cutters, press brake machines, power tools, and machining equipment. Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to meet specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately to ensure proper fabrication and assembly of parts. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations during all phases of fabrication and welding processes. Experience Proven construction site experience or fabrication shop experience involving metalworking projects. Demonstrated proficiency in welding techniques such as FCAW, MIG, TIG, and gas metal arc welding. Familiarity with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to metal fabrication and welding practices. Ability to use measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers accurately for quality control purposes. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely. Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 48.0 per week
