•4:30 PM

•$28 per hour

Location:

Brookfield, WI We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team on 1st shift. In this role, you will read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assemble and weld metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with welding equipment, and the ability to ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine specific welding requirements.

Lay out, position, align, and fit components together according to blueprints, bill of materials (BOM), and written or verbal instructions.

Check parts for accuracy, proper clearance, and fit prior to welding.

Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them in position for final MIG welding.

Select appropriate equipment and plan the layout of assemblies for welding.

Set up welding machines based on job specifications and materials.

Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete fabrication and assembly tasks.

Inspect completed items as instructed to ensure they meet quality standards.

Provide feedback to management to help identify and prevent future quality defects.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, returning equipment and tools at the end of each shift.

Assist other departments and functions as needed.

Qualifications

Experience with MIG welding Experience with Flux Core welding

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Familiarity with welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
