Hours:
6:00am-2:00pm We are seeking Mig Fitter Welders in Germantown, WI. Mig Fitter Welders Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
- Fit and assemble metal components prior to welding
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, drill presses, and other shop tools
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment
- Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout the shop
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules
Mig Fitter Welders Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 5+ years of MIG welding and fitting experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Welding certification preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift for extended periods
- Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands
