Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, supporting our commitment to excellence and innovation. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about metal fabrication and welding, eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. We also do mobile welding and line boring services with occasional overnights including weekends. Responsibilities Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes to ensure accurate cuts and welds. Operate various hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal materials including sheet metal and structural components. Perform welding using multiple techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and gas metal arc welding in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Fabricate metal parts by cutting, bending, and welding. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times on construction sites or fabrication shops. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize welding processes for efficiency and quality. Requirements Experience with various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding; is prefered, but willing to train. Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, shop math, and basic math skills necessary for precise fabrication work. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, machining equipment, and other fabrication machinery safely and effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to metal materials, sheet metal fabrication, mechanical fabrication processes, and safety protocols. Experience working with construction site environments or in a manufacturing setting involving metal materials is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Pay:
