Account Manager — Edible Asheville Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | Commission + Monthly Retainer Edible Asheville is a local food and lifestyle magazine, now entering its 11th year in business. We are seeking an outgoing, motivated Account Manager to help local businesses grow through thoughtful, creative marketing partnerships. This is a marketing and sales role - perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, networking in the community, and helping businesses tell their story through print, digital, social media, and editorial marketing campaigns. Our magazine focuses on the food, drink, and lifestyle culture of Western North Carolina, and our advertisers range from restaurants and breweries to wellness brands, tourism organizations, farms, makers, retailers, and design businesses. What You'll Do Recruit new advertising and marketing clients Build relationships with local business owners and marketing directors Attend networking events, restaurant openings, festivals, and community gatherings Conduct marketing consultations to understand client goals Develop creative marketing ideas and proposals Maintain relationships with current advertisers and help renew long-term partnerships Stay informed on Asheville business news, new openings, and regional trends Compensation $500 monthly retainer 20% commission on all sales Additional bonuses available for high performers Flexible contractor position, set your own schedule and work remotely Most Account Managers work approximately 6-8 hours per week to meet baseline goals, though earnings increase significantly with additional sales activity and relationship-building.
