Description Robert Half is hiring a Media Relations Manager for one of our major clients. This individual will develop and execute proactive media strategies designed to strengthen corporate reputation, increase earned media visibility, position company executives as industry thought leaders, and support key business initiatives. The ideal candidate has established experience working with journalists and understands how to identify compelling stories, develop strong pitches, prepare executives for interviews, and manage communications during high-visibility situations. Responsibilities

+ Develop and execute proactive media relations strategies.

+ Build and maintain relationships with national, trade, regional, and industry journalists.

+ Identify compelling corporate, product, customer, and executive stories.

+ Write press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, talking points, FAQs, and executive messaging.

+ Secure earned media opportunities and manage inbound media requests.

+ Prepare executives and subject matter experts for interviews and media appearances.

+ Monitor relevant news cycles, industry developments, competitors, and emerging issues.

+ Coordinate media activity surrounding company announcements, product launches, research, events, and milestones.

+ Support issues management and crisis communications when needed.

+ Measure earned media coverage, sentiment, share of voice, message penetration, and campaign performance. Requirements Qualifications + 5+ years of public relations, corporate communications, or media relations experience.

+ Demonstrated history of securing earned media coverage.

+ Established understanding of how journalists and newsrooms operate.

+ Exceptional writing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills.

+ Experience preparing senior executives for media interviews.

+ Strong judgment and ability to operate effectively during fast-moving situations.

+ Experience developing press releases, pitches, talking points, and briefing materials.

+ Agency and/or corporate communications experience preferred.
