This is a relationship-driven business development role for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, building trust, and representing an organization in the community. You'll develop and strengthen relationships with professionals who serve older adults and their families, helping to continue to make Together in Caring a trusted resource when their clients, patients, residents, or families need guidance and geriatric care management support.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective referral sources throughout the Capital Region Conduct consistent outside sales and business development outreach (in person and creatively) Develop relationships with senior living communities, elder law attorneys, wealth advisors, healthcare professionals, social workers, home care organizations, aging-service providers, and other community partners Schedule and conduct in-person meetings and presentations with professional referral sources Represent Together in Caring at networking events, conferences, community programs, educational events, and professional meetings Educate community partners about Together in Caring's services and when geriatric care management may benefit the individuals and families they serve Occasionally host an event for referral partners with the help of the rest of your team Maintain consistent follow-up with professional contacts and referral partners Identify new opportunities for community partnerships, presentations, sponsorships, and outreach Track outreach activities, relationships, referrals, and results in our CRM system Collaborate closely with our care management and leadership teams to support organizational growth

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

Previous outside sales or business development experience Previous experience working with older adults and/or within the senior care or aging-services community Experience developing relationships with professional referral sources Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to work independently Professional, warm, confident presence when representing the organization Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Capital Region for meetings, events, and outreach Established professional relationships within senior living, healthcare, elder law, financial services, home care, or other aging-related organizations are highly valued.

Together in Caring provides professional geriatric care management and aging-life guidance to older adults and their families in Rochester, Syracuse and Albany. We help families navigate complex systems, care decisions, changing needs, and next steps with confidence. Our Care Management team is made up of Social Workers, Nurses, and Aging Life Care Professionals. Our work is guided by four core values:

You will report directly to the President based in Rochester, and have digital marketing support from the Digital Marketing Manager.
