Job Description
This position is responsible for the various communication activities and products of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association.
Job responsibilities include:
1. Provide communication and administrative support to the ARTA board of directors and staff, area councils, state committees, and local units as needed.
2. Demonstrate familiarity with website design/maintenance, email marketing, desktop publishing, graphic design, and other software/tools used by the association.
3. Coordinate all ARTA communications channels and products (i.e. newsletters, social media, website, and periodic email blasts).
4. Have general knowledge of the legislative process, ATRS retirement system, state and other insurance providers.
This is a part-time position. Some work may be done remotely. Hours will vary. Limited travel will be required. Salary based on experience and knowledge of communication software/tools.
