Cultivate media relations by building relationships with journalists, preparing press releases, and coordinating media coverage for community programs. Experience Proven experience in community engagement or outreach roles, demonstrating success in building community relationships. Strong public speaking skills with experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and planning purposes. Demonstrated ability in social media management and social media marketing strategies. Excellent written communication skills for creating compelling content such as press releases, newsletters, and social media posts. Experience in public relations or media relations to effectively manage press inquiries and develop media partnerships. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to reach broader audiences; additional skills in project management, budgeting, and business development are a plus.
