The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for assisting in both the execution and strategic planning for all marketing activities required to achieve the organization's goals related to brand growth, health, engagement, and impact. This includes managing and developing all marketing assets such as creative design, website, social media, email, video, and copywriting. Our Marketing Communications Specialist is expected to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling content, support company growth and development, and capture and use data to better understand the customer journey to execute a plan that fosters high-quality engagement at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in the creative design and digital platform space, an innovative spirit with technology, an understanding of metrics and valuation of digital assets, and a strong writing background. A successful applicant will demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work creatively and proactively while collaborating in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute integrated marketing communications strategies to drive brand awareness, enhance brand reputation, and increase customer engagement. Collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to create compelling marketing campaigns and initiatives that align with business objectives and target audience preferences. Write copy for a variety of marketing collateral including print materials, digital content, social media, videos, and presentations. Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's website, ensuring it effectively communicates the brand message and offers a seamless user experience. Manage and enhance the company's social media presence, including content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for differentiation and optimization of marketing communications strategies. Assist in the coordination and planning of events, community volunteer efforts, sponsorships and other corporate events, from concept to execution. All other duties as assigned, related to marketing communications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related is strongly preferred; high school diploma is required 1-3 years of experience in a diversified marketing communications role Event planning and execution experience is a plus Knowledge of Canva, social media platforms, and CRM systems Organized, strategic thinker with the ability to juggle competing tasks and deadlines in an ever-changing environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in St. Charles, IL is hiring for a full-time, permanent Marketing Communications Specialist. #IND2

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
