Communications Coordinator Do you love people, communication, creativity, and being involved in your community? The Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys writing, social media, marketing, events, and telling the stories of local businesses and our community. What You'll Do Create engaging social media and email content Promote Chamber programs, events, and initiatives Responsible for Chamber Insight, Chambergrams, newsletters, and our annual directory Help promote and recognize our members through spotlights, ribbon cuttings, and special events Responsible for marketing and communications for Chamber events Help capture and share the stories, people, and activities that make our business community special Responsible for website updates, graphics, and digital communications What We're Looking For Someone with a bachelor's degree in mass communications, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. A strong writer and communicator Creative, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable with social media and digital communications Friendly, professional, and outgoing Someone who enjoys meeting people and building relationships Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience with Canva, photography, email marketing, or website management is a plus Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is a people person, enjoys being part of the community, and wants to help promote our local businesses.
