First Congregational United Church of Christ in Watertown is seeking a welcoming, service‑minded individual to support our mission and help share our story with the community. The Front Desk & Communications Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for visitors and manages the church's internal and external communications across multiple platforms. May consider hybrid (partial hours work remotely) work agreement. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet and assist visitors in the Church Office Manage day‑to‑day office operations and provide administrative support Oversee all church communications, including: Website updates Weekly bulletin and printed materials Email communications and direct mail Social media and web postings Signage and other public‑facing messaging Produce, edit, and distribute weekly church service video recordings across various platforms Ensure consistent, clear, and mission‑aligned public relations messaging Qualifications Strong marketing and communications skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook) Ability and willingness to learn video editing software General office experience and familiarity with daily administrative operations Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently Friendly, professional, and committed to serving others To Apply Please submit your résumé to: ERC.FirstCongUCCWttn@gmail.com
