Communications Coordinator

Job Description

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating an environment of support and creativity that enables the missions of the Olivia Caldwell Foundation to be successful. The communications coordinator is responsible for the marketing efforts of the foundation including designing the overall marketing strategy, graphic design, social media management, email marketing, and seeking press coverage. Reporting directly to the CEO, the communications coordinator performs the following functions in brief: Design the overall marketing strategy for OCF signature events and ongoing awareness efforts Use Canva to create event materials, newsletters, marketing materials, etc that are within OCF brand standards. Coordinates with local media to ensure OCF is regularly receiving press coverage related to our programs and upcoming events Design and send regular email marketing campaigns Support implementation of overall strategy designed for our signature events and ongoing fundraising initiatives Some fundraising, including assisting with events and securing sponsorships, in-kind donations and auction items for events Performing other duties as required or assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proven ability to work in a team environment Detail Oriented and Tech Savvy Skilled in Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite and Canva Excellent time and project management skills Positive attitude, compassionate with ability to maintain confidentiality Customer-service oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills High energy, enthusiastic and competent working with a diverse group of staff, board members, donors, volunteers, and community partners Mission focused with the desire to make a difference
JOB LOCATION
Casper, WY
POSITION TYPE
Part-Time, 20-25 hours per week on average Salary, $20-23 per hour, DOE M-F with occasional weekends and after hours Benefits include paid time off, flexible scheduling, paid holidays, Simple IRA match

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
