About Mocanik Mocanik is an on-demand mobile mechanic platform that brings trusted mechanics directly to customers. We're looking for a creative storyteller who can capture real repairs, customer experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments to help grow our brand across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms. This isn't just a videographer position. We're looking for someone who can eventually become our lead content strategist and help build one of the largest automotive brands on social media. Responsibilities Travel with mechanics to service appointments. Film automotive repairs and behind-the-scenes footage. Capture customer testimonials and reactions. Produce engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Edit videos using transitions, captions, sound effects, motion graphics, and trending styles. Create professional voiceovers when appropriate. Stay up to date on social media trends and viral content. Brainstorm and pitch creative marketing campaigns. Organize video footage and maintain a content library. Help schedule and publish social media posts. Track video performance and recommend improvements based on analytics. Preferred Qualifications Experience filming with iPhone, DSLR, or mirrorless cameras. Experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram algorithms. Experience creating viral or high-performing short-form content. Excellent storytelling and editing skills. Comfortable working outdoors and at automotive repair locations. Reliable transportation. Passion for cars, mechanics, or automotive culture is a major plus. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who thinks: "How can I make this repair go viral?" instead of "How do I just record this?" You should enjoy experimenting with hooks, storytelling, trending sounds, customer reactions, cinematic shots, drone footage (optional), and creative editing techniques that grab attention within the first three seconds.
