Job Description
We are a mattress brand building an employee-led content presence on Meta and Instagram. Rather than a single spokesperson, we are building a small cast of named, recurring on-camera characters — each representing a real department and a real point of view within the company. Each character has a name, a title, a backstory, and a specific lane of content they own. You will appear consistently across paid Meta ads, organic social content, and brand storytelling videos as your assigned character. Customers will come to recognize your face, your role, and your voice as part of the brand's story. This is an ongoing creative partnership, not a one-time shoot. The Three Open Roles Role 1 — Director of Materials & Sourcing This character is the brand's authority on what goes into the product. She or he talks about why certification matters, what conventional mattress manufacturers don't tell you, how we source our cotton, and what the certification process actually involves.
Think:
passionate, slightly nerdy about ingredients, the person at the dinner party who knows too much about VOCs and off-gassing and can't help but tell you. Credibility and conviction are the whole job here. Role 2 — Head of Customer Experience This character is the warm, relatable face of what happens after someone buys. She or he shares customer transformation stories, responds to common objections, talks about what families are saying, and builds the social proof layer of the brand's content.
Think:
genuinely empathetic, loves hearing from customers, the kind of person who remembers names. This role does a lot of the direct-response ad work — testimonial framing, objection handling, "here's what customers keep telling us" content. Role 3 — Supply Chain & Operations Coordinator This character owns the "made in America, built differently" story. She or he talks about manufacturing, quality control, what it means to be USA-made, and why the supply chain decisions the brand makes cost more but matter more.
Think:
grounded, practical, proud of the craft, slightly no-nonsense. This role is excellent for behind-the-scenes style content and "here's what actually goes into making this" storytelling. What You'll Be Shooting Across All Roles Direct-to-camera explainer videos, problem-awareness content, behind-the-scenes style walkthroughs, objection-response videos, and trust-building brand story content. All shot on phone in a natural home or workspace environment. No studio required. Scripts and creative briefs provided — your job is to make them sound like your own words. You're the
Right Fit If:
You're a natural, confident on-camera performer who doesn't need a production crew to come alive on camera You can play a character consistently over months — same name, same title, same energy, same person You genuinely care about wellness, clean living, non-toxic home environments, or family health — the belief has to read as real You look and feel like someone who would actually work at a company like this — credible, relatable, not a spokesperson or model You're comfortable with a pseudonym and a defined character role You take creative direction well but can improvise naturally when the camera is rolling Compensation $200 per filming session (multiple deliverables per session) Full usage rights for paid Meta advertising included in all rates How to Apply No resume needed. Tell us which role you're applying for and send us two things: A 90-second selfie video — no editing, no filters — speaking from the point of view of the role you want. If you're applying for Materials & Sourcing, tell us why you think what's in a mattress actually matters. If you're applying for Customer Experience, tell us about a time a product genuinely changed something for you or someone you know. If you're applying for Supply Chain, tell us why American manufacturing means something. We want to see if we believe you. One sentence on why you're the right long-term fit for this specific role. Applications without a video will not be reviewed. Three positions available. Contract terms, character details, exclusivity, and usage rights discussed upon engagement. Equal opportunity employer.
