Job Description
Metro Detroit Social Media Influencer / Content Creator Part-Time | Monthly Paid Position | Metro Detroit We are looking for a Metro Detroit-based social media influencer/content creator with an established presence on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook . This is not a traditional marketing position . We are looking for someone who already understands social media, creates engaging content, and knows how to build an audience and generate traction through authentic content and cross-promotion. What You'll Do Create and/or collaborate on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook content. Help build awareness for a cannabis-related brand through apparel, packaging, lifestyle, and brand-focused content . Cross-promote content strategically across multiple social media platforms. Develop a simple monthly social media plan and content strategy. Help educate budtenders on how to create effective TikToks, Instagram posts, and Facebook content to grow their individual accounts and increase engagement. Identify trends, content ideas, and opportunities that can help increase reach and engagement. Help create an authentic social media presence around the brand and its community. Who We're Looking For A Metro Detroit social media influencer/content creator with an established audience. Strong presence on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. An audience that is primarily 21+ and located in the Metro Detroit area . Comfortable appearing on camera and creating engaging content. Understands current social media trends and what gets people to interact with content. Creative, outgoing, and authentic. Able to think strategically about cross-promotion and audience growth. Experience in the cannabis space is a plus, but not required. Audience Verification Required Because of the nature of the brand, applicants must be able to provide current social media analytics/insights showing: Audience age demographics, specifically demonstrating a 21+ audience . Audience location, demonstrating a meaningful Metro Detroit following . Relevant engagement and audience statistics. Screenshots or other verifiable analytics from TikTok, Instagram, and/or Facebook may be requested as part of the application process. Important This role is focused on social media influence and content creation—not traditional advertising or cannabis marketing . Content will focus primarily on apparel, packaging, lifestyle, culture, and brand awareness , while following all applicable platform rules and regulations. Compensation Monthly paid position. Compensation will be based on experience, existing social media presence, audience demographics, engagement, and scope of work.
