Location:

Administrative Services Center Multimedia Content Coordinator Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for a Multimedia Content Coordinator. The Multimedia Content Coordinator uncovers and tells the Eden Prairie Schools story. An adept and agile communicator, this position uses writing, photo, video and sound to strengthen connections between the district and its broader community of students, families, staff, alumni and partners.

Position Qualifications Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Cinematography, Communications, Broadcasting, Public Relations, or a related field and 2 years of experience preferred 3-5 years of experience required for those without a degree.

Experience:

Exceptional storytelling skills and the ability to effectively communicate through written, audio and visual mediums, including photo and video, for a variety of purposes, audiences and channels Strong interviewing, writing and editing skills; ability to create engaging, clear and error-free content for use across platforms in a timely fashion Editing and proofreading the writing of others Coordinating and managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, including on tight deadlines and at a fast pace Pitching, shooting and edit videos, including mid-form and social optimized content

Qualifications:

Evidence of dependability, accuracy, attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving skills Ability to pack and transport video camera(s), tripods, lighting, microphones, and other associated equipment to all sites and other necessary locations Ability to multitask, prioritize, and use appropriate time management skills to hit short- and long-term deadlines in the style of a multimedia journalist (MMJ) Understanding of current social media trends, platform algorithms and visual tone Please review the attached job description for additional details about the position. • Salary/year $76,237 based on the 2026-2028 EPSS Employment Agreement (EPSS Level IV) Hours Per Day 8 hours a day Days Per Week 5 days Days Per Year 260 days Times 8:00am - 4:30pm Vacation 20 days a year Holidays 12 paid holidays each year Life Insurance Life insurance fully paid by the employer for an amount equal to twice the employee's annual salary Long Term Disability Insurance Long term disability fully paid by the employer. Medical/Hospitalization Medical/hospitalization insurance available per EPSS agreement District contribution up to $1,673 per month for family coverage Dental Insurance Dental insurance is fully paid by the employer for family coverage Sick Leave 14 days per year cumulative to 254 days Tuition Reimbursement 50% tuition for up to 9 credits per fiscal year for pre-approved coursework This is an unofficial summary of benefits.
