About the Role The Content Manager is responsible for the day-to-day creation, execution, and management of visual content across Planetary Design's six established brands. This is a highly creative, hands-on role for someone who can move comfortably between planning a product shoot, creating a social campaign, editing video, designing digital graphics, managing a content calendar, and reviewing the performance of a Meta campaign. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Growth Marketing Manager, the Content Manager will translate marketing strategies, product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives into engaging creative that is consistent, relevant, and built for each channel. Core ResponsibilitiesPhotography & Video Plan and execute product and lifestyle photography across all six brands. Develop campaign creative based on approved marketing briefs and brand direction. Adapt creative concepts and assets for different platforms, placements, dimensions, and audiences. Maintain visual consistency while respecting the individual identity and creative direction of each Planetary Design brand. Assist with creative direction and design inspiration for email campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives. Stay current on creative trends and identify opportunities that make sense for our brands rather than simply following trends. Organic Social Media Manage organic social media channels across all six Planetary Design brands. Develop and maintain social content calendars. Schedule and publish content across relevant platforms. Write and/or coordinate social copy that reflects each brand's individual voice. Manage community engagement, including comments, messages, and audience interaction. Monitor social media trends and identify relevant opportunities for brand participation. Track organic social performance and use results to improve future content. Meta Advertising Manage Meta advertising campaigns across the Planetary Design brand portfolio. Develop, launch, and test paid social creative. Monitor campaign performance and key advertising metrics. Optimize creative, audiences, and targeting based on campaign results. Identify winning creative concepts and develop additional variations for testing. Coordinate paid social strategy with broader product launches, promotions, and brand campaigns. Email Marketing Own the email marketing calendar across Planetary Design brands. Develop campaign briefs, promotional concepts, and messaging direction. Coordinate creative needs with the Content Manager and Director of Marketing. Build, schedule, test, and deploy email campaigns. Manage customer segmentation and promotional strategies. Coordinate email initiatives with product launches, seasonal promotions, and broader marketing campaigns. Track key email performance metrics. Identify opportunities to improve open rates, click-through rates, conversions, engagement, and list health. Use campaign results to improve future messaging, segmentation, timing, and promotional strategy. Campaign & Cross-Functional Creative Partner with the Director of Marketing and Growth Marketing Manager to identify creative and asset requirements for upcoming initiatives. Produce creative assets for product launches, promotions, influencer programs, email campaigns, website initiatives, social media, and advertising. Coordinate creative needs and timelines to ensure assets are completed ahead of campaign launches. Repurpose high-performing content across multiple channels to maximize its value. Ensure campaigns maintain consistent creative execution across customer touchpoints. Collaborate with other departments, outside agencies, influencers, photographers, and creative partners as needed. Content Planning & Performance The Content Manager should be equally comfortable creating content and evaluating whether that content is working.
Responsibilities include:

Use performance data to guide future creative decisions. Identify gaps in existing content and proactively recommend new concepts. Balance planned campaign content with timely, trend-driven opportunities. Continually test new formats, concepts, messaging, and creative approaches.
