Content Capture & Production:
Capture photos and video of Barnhart employees, trucks, trailers, facilities, projects, customer activities, community involvement, and company events Use DSLR/mirrorless cameras, GoPro cameras, smartphones, and other video equipment to capture high-quality content Capture aerial photo and video content using drone equipment when appropriate and in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies Assist with planning and coordinating on-site content shoots Identify opportunities to capture unique and engaging behind-the-scenes content Edit photos and videos for use across digital and social media platforms Develop short-form video content, project highlights, employee features, equipment showcases, and other creative content
Graphic Design & Creative:
Create social media graphics, digital advertisements, presentations, and other marketing materials Utilize Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom Maintain consistency with Barnhart's brand standards across all creative materials Help organize and maintain Barnhart's library of photography, video, graphics, and other digital assets
Social Media Management:
Assist with managing and publishing content across , , and YouTube Develop and maintain a social media content calendar Write captions and supporting copy for social media posts Schedule and publish approved content Upload, organize, title, and optimize video content on YouTube Monitor basic social media performance and identify which types of content generate the strongest engagement Research trends and recommend new content ideas and opportunities
Qualifications:
Current third- or fourth-year college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, or a related field Strong interest in social media, photography, videography, and digital storytelling Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite Comfortable working with cameras and video equipment Video editing experience preferred Drone photography/videography experience preferred Familiarity with , , and YouTube from a business or content-management perspective Strong written communication skills Creative mindset with an ability to recognize compelling content opportunities Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
