Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator Daystar Television Network - 3.5 Bedford, TX Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Decision making Adobe Premiere Video effects application Adobe After Effects Motion graphics editing Media editing tools Full Job Description Daystar Television is seeking a full-time Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator ( The Rebecca Weiss Podcast ) to turn thoughtful, long-form conversations into compelling episodes and digital content. Responsibility includes edit full episodes, identify moments worth sharing, and create engaging videos for social media. Must have a strong editor and storyteller with advanced skills in both Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Ability to recognize a powerful moment in a long interview, shape it without losing its meaning, and present it effectively in both full-length and short-form videos.

•Key Responsibilities Podcast editing and post-production Edit full-length video episodes with strong pacing, clean transitions, and close attention to the substance of each conversation. Select camera angles and incorporate supporting footage and graphics where useful. Create motion graphics and on-screen elements in Adobe After Effects for episodes and promotional videos. Create final video exports for YouTube and other distribution channels. Review deliverables for technical quality, accuracy, captions, spelling, and consistency. Organize project files, footage, graphics, and final assets so the production team can find and reuse them easily. Social media content creation Identify strong hooks, memorable insights, and emotionally resonant moments within each episode. Produce short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms. Add captions, motion graphics, music, and platform-appropriate framing while preserving the guest's and host's intent. Create episode previews, launch-day clips, follow-up clips, and evergreen highlights. Collaboration Partner with Rebecca, producers, and the broader media team to understand the purpose and priorities of each episode. Participate in editorial planning and help identify content opportunities before and after filming. Manage feedback and revisions professionally while meeting agreed deadlines. Exercise sound judgment with personal stories, sensitive topics, guest remarks, and faith-related content. Qualifications Demonstrated experience editing long-form video and creating short-form social content. Advanced proficiency in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects , including the ability to create and integrate motion graphics into video edits. A portfolio showing strong storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, and editing for different platforms. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deliverables at once. Ability to receive feedback, work collaboratively, and take projects from raw footage through final delivery. Preferred Qualifications Experience with interview-based podcasts or other long-form conversations. Experience filming, lighting, or operating cameras during studio productions. An understanding of faith-based media and the ability to handle its subject matter with care and editorial integrity. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit at workstation for extended periods of time. Must be able to do excessive walking. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Must be able to work shifts as scheduled. Must be able to work extended hours during events. What Success Looks Like Full episodes are delivered on schedule and meet a consistently high production standard. Every episode produces a thoughtful set of short-form videos with strong openings and clear audience value. Motion graphics enhance the content and fit the podcast's visual style.
