Social Media Manager & Short-Form Video Creator Confidential Trading Card & Collectibles Business Part-Time | Approximately 5-15 Hours per Week Do you love creating Reels, TikToks, and bold, high-energy content? A fast-growing trading card business in the Janesville area is looking for a creative, motivated, and reliable Social Media Manager & Short-Form Video Creator to help grow its brand and online community. This hands-on role includes content planning, filming, editing, posting, and social media management. The right person will know how to capture the excitement of Pokémon cards, pack breaks, valuable pulls, card shows, new inventory, and behind-the-scenes moments—and turn them into engaging content. Responsibilities Plan, film, edit, and publish short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts Create bold, eye-catching graphics and story content Capture pack breaks, major card pulls, new product drops, behind-the-scenes moments, and card show highlights Develop and manage a consistent content calendar Write captions, select hashtags, and help manage audience engagement Help promote giveaways, special events, card shows, and product releases Stay current on trending audio, editing styles, content formats, and platform updates Proactively bring new content ideas to the business Track analytics and use results to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth Organize video, photo, and content files Attend and capture content at select card shows and events Travel occasionally for events and card shows Required Skills Candidates must be comfortable using: CapCut Canva Instagram TikTok Meta Business Suite Experience with YouTube Shorts is strongly preferred. Bonus skills include Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro or Premiere Rush, InShot, photography, videography, livestream content, and YouTube editing. Qualifications Proven experience creating engaging short-form videos Strong video-editing and visual storytelling skills A good eye for hooks, pacing, music, effects, and overall presentation Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices Creative, dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines Comfortable filming people, products, and high-energy moments Able to work independently and take initiative Willing to learn the company's brand, audience, and business goals Genuine knowledge of or interest in Pokémon cards and collectibles Available for occasional evenings, weekends, and travel

Knowledge of Magic:

The Gathering, sports cards, or other collectibles is a plus. Brand Style Bold. Energetic. Fun. Collectible Culture. We are looking for someone who understands excitement, storytelling, and how to capture attention within the first few seconds of a video. Schedule Approximately 5-15 hours per week , depending on content needs, events, and experience. Some work may be completed remotely, but regular in-person filming and occasional event coverage will be required.
