ALTUS Shooting Solutions builds and sells precision rifles, barreled actions, and components for shooters who care about the details. We run a custom gunsmith shop alongside our e-commerce business, which means the products we list online are the products being built down the hall. Our customers are precision rifle competitors, long-range hunters, and serious recreational shooters who know the difference between a good barrel and a great one. Our job is to make sure they can find exactly what they need and trust what they are reading when they find it. The Role We are hiring an E-commerce Coordinator to own the day-to-day work of our online catalog. You will build and maintain product listings on BigCommerce, keep our product data accurate across systems, and help get our products in front of customers. This is not a role where you upload a shirt in three sizes and move on. Our catalog is genuinely technical - barreled actions with bill-of-material structures, barrels with variant matrices spanning caliber, twist rate, length, contour, and finish. Getting a listing right means understanding what you are listing. If you like precise, detail-heavy work and you want to learn the product deeply, you will do well here. What You Will Do Product and catalog management Build new product listings in BigCommerce, including variants, modifiers, pricing, categories, and specifications Maintain and audit existing listings for accuracy - specs, pricing, availability, and product data Reconcile product data between BigCommerce and our inventory system (Finale) and resolve discrepancies Coordinate with purchasing and the custom shop to verify specifications before products go live Own listing completeness end to end: when a listing needs assets or information from another department, you request it and follow through until it is done Support bill-of-material setup for build-to-order product lines Platform administration Handle day-to-day BigCommerce administration: category structure, navigation, search, redirects, and app configuration Maintain pricing rules, promotions, and product availability settings Identify and escalate site issues; work with internal stakeholders and outside developers on fixes Help maintain internal tooling and reports that support the catalog Email and customer communication Assist in building and scheduling customer email campaigns - new product announcements, restock notifications, and promotions Draft product-focused email copy consistent with the ALTUS brand voice Support outreach lists and segmentation What We Are Looking For Required 1-3 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce, product data, catalog management, or a comparable detail-intensive administrative role Strong working proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of structured product data Clear written communication and the ability to work across departments to get answers Able to work on-site in Baker, FL Preferred Direct experience administering BigCommerce, Shopify, or a comparable e-commerce platform Experience with inventory management software Exposure to email marketing platforms Experience utilizing AI Tools Basic understanding of SEO or HTML You do not need to be an expert in both e-commerce and firearms to apply.
