Job Description

Position Summary The Henry Brand Marketing Ambassador is Orion Wholesale's dedicated internal owner for the Henry Repeating Arms partnership. This role is responsible for increasing dealer awareness, product placement, sell-through, and reorder activity while ensuring Orion executes the inventory, training, reporting, and brand-development commitments established with Henry. The Brand Ambassador will serve as the primary link among Orion's sales team, purchasing and inventory teams, Henry representatives, and participating dealers.
Hours:
M-F, 9am - 5:30 PM onsite in Jeffersonville, IN Essential Duties and Responsibilities Own the Henry action plan: Coordinate execution of Orion's 30/60/90-day launch plan and maintain accountability for assigned milestones, deliverables, and follow-up actions.
Develop product expertise:
Complete Henry factory and product training; maintain working knowledge of the active catalog, product features, applications, competitive positioning, availability, and upcoming launches.
Train the sales organization:
Lead monthly Henry product training and provide sales briefs, SKU-level talking points, objection responses, and dealer opportunity lists.
Drive dealer growth:
Build and manage a prioritized dealer plan covering Henry's Top 100 accounts, current Orion customers, high-potential non-buyers, and underpenetrated markets.
Support dealer sell-through:
Conduct targeted outreach, assist with assortment recommendations, coordinate approved promotions, and follow up on placement and reorder opportunities.
Coordinate brand activation:
Manage Henry-approved point-of-sale materials, product-launch communications, digital assets, dealer events, and internal sales contests.
Provide market intelligence:
Capture dealer feedback, competitive activity, product requests, lost-sale reasons, and regional demand insights; communicate actionable findings to Orion leadership and Henry.
Monitor inventory health:
Partner with purchasing and inventory teams to review SKU coverage, sales velocity, weeks of supply, backorders, stock-outs, excess inventory, and replenishment needs.
Maintain reporting discipline:
Prepare accurate weekly scorecards covering sales by SKU, inventory, dealer state and ZIP code, new placements, reorders, backorders, and campaign activity.
Support business reviews:
Prepare materials and participate in weekly launch reviews, monthly planning calls with Henry, and quarterly business reviews.
Protect the brand:
Follow Henry's pricing structure, approved messaging, brand standards, and applicable laws, regulations, and Orion policies.
Support strategic opportunities:
Help evaluate exclusive-product concepts and coordinate dealer demand feedback, forecasts, launch timing, and volume assumptions. Key Performance Measures Growth in Henry net sales, unit sales, and sell-through Number of new active Henry dealers and reactivated accounts Dealer reorder rate and expansion of Henry assortment by account SKU coverage, fill rate, stock-out frequency, and weeks of supply Completion and effectiveness of sales and dealer training Timeliness and accuracy of weekly reports and business-review materials Dealer engagement with approved campaigns and point-of-sale programs Completion of agreed launch milestones and corrective actions Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field preferred. Two or more years of experience in wholesale distribution, dealer sales, account management, brand representation, or a related role preferred. Firearms industry and lever-action product knowledge strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to learn a broad product catalog and communicate technical product information clearly. Experience using customer relationship management, inventory, reporting, and Microsoft Office tools. Strong written communication, presentation, organization, and follow-through skills. Ability to interpret sales and inventory data and convert findings into practical actions. Ability to travel for factory training, dealer visits, trade events, and business reviews as needed. Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and all Orion safety and workplace policies. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
