Job Description
Growing event entertainment company specializing in portable mini golf experiences for weddings, corporate events, schools, festivals, fundraisers, private parties, and more. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and self-motivated Social Media & Marketing Assistant to help us grow our brand and reach new customers. This is an entry-level, part-time, in-house position and a great opportunity for someone interested in social media, marketing, content creation, AI, photography/video, and business development. You do not need years of professional marketing experience. We are looking for someone who understands today's social media environment, is willing to learn, brings ideas to the table, and wants hands-on experience helping grow a developing brand. Responsibilities, but not limited to: Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms Take photos and short-form videos of our products, events, setups and behind-the-scenes activities Create and edit Reels, TikToks, Stories and promotional content Help develop creative ideas designed to increase followers, engagement and leads Use modern AI tools to assist with content ideas, captions, graphics, videos and marketing campaigns Stay current with social media trends, sounds, hashtags and platform changes Maintain an organized social media/content calendar Help respond to social media inquiries and engage with followers Assist with email marketing and lead follow-up Make outbound/cold calls to potential referral partners, venues, event planners, schools, businesses and prospective customers Help identify new marketing and partnership opportunities Track basic social media performance and determine what content is working Assist with trade shows, events and promotional activities when needed We're Looking for Someone Who Is self-motivated and doesn't need to be constantly directed Is organized and able to manage multiple projects Understands Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and current social media trends Is comfortable taking photos and videos Has an eye for creating attractive, engaging content Is comfortable learning and using current AI technology Has good written and verbal communication skills Is comfortable speaking on the phone and making outbound calls Is creative and willing to suggest new ideas Is dependable, professional and willing to learn Enjoys being part of a growing business Experience with Canva, CapCut, ChatGPT, Adobe products or similar tools is a plus, but not required. Why This Is a Great Entry-Level Opportunity This isn't an internship where you'll spend your time watching someone else do the work. You'll have the opportunity to actually help build a brand. The right candidate will gain hands-on experience in social media growth, content creation, digital marketing, AI-assisted marketing, photography/video, lead generation, sales and business development. You'll be able to see which ideas work, participate in real campaigns and develop content that can become part of your professional portfolio. As the company grows, there may also be opportunities for the position to grow with it.
