Job Description

The Opportunity We are launching a new brand and new product categories: a mid-level premium "lifestyle utility" brand spanning wellness, technology, and beauty, built to bridge home and the daily commute. It is a category we have never sold in before, and the brand starts from a blank slate. Details on the brand are shared during the interview process. As Senior Brand Manager, you will own the brand's strategy, go-to-market, community, budget, and results. Our approach is community marketing, not influencer marketing: a network of real people around the world who use and believe in the product, rather than reach rented from high-follower-count accounts. If you have built a brand and a genuine community from nothing and want to do it again with the backing of an established company, this role is for you. What You'll Own Brand Strategy & Community Marketing (Primary Focus)
Brand Ownership:
Define and own the brand's go-to-market direction across wellness, technology, and beauty. Keep the brand story consistent at every touchpoint, including the website, app, and ambassador content.
Community Marketing:
Build a network of real people in cities including New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Seoul who authentically use and enjoy the product, recruited through direct outreach rather than agency-brokered influencer deals.
Ambassador Program:
Identify, recruit, and manage a rotating roster of brand ambassadors, prioritizing authenticity and content quality over follower count. Set compensation, incentives, the referral program, and performance measures.
Community Sales:
Turn communities into a sales channel through partnerships with small and medium-size retailers and a referral and commission program that ties ambassador content to online sales.
Partnerships & Vendors Community Partnerships:
Approach existing communities directly and in person to build sponsorship relationships that put the product in front of genuine audiences.
Vendor Management:
Identify and manage outsourced partners where needed, particularly to source and vet ambassador candidates before an internal team exists.
Paid Channel Strategy:
Once the community foundation is in place, help set the strategy and budget for paid social advertising.
Team Leadership Team Building:
Hire and lead a Brand Operations Manager, and decide where contractors and agencies are needed.
Internal Support:
Work with the in-house marketing team for packaging and product assets on a scheduled, request basis.
Cross-Functional & Digital Digital Experience:
Review and direct our Korea-based design team's work on the brand's website and app so both reflect the brand story and work for a U.S. audience. Set priorities for outside development partners and approve releases before launch.
Executive Reporting:
Keep the Senior Director of Marketing informed on progress, budget, results against targets, and major decisions. What Success Looks Like in Your First 12
Months Community Content:
A live brand site and social channels with a steady flow of community content before paid spend begins.
Ambassador Roster:
An active ambassador roster across the launch cities.
Partnerships:
Signed community partnerships that produce sales.
Sales Tracking:
Online and referral sales tracked against plan, with cost per customer and content output reported monthly. Targets are set with leadership.
What You Bring Experience:
7+ years of experience building or launching a brand from the ground up. Agency experience across multiple brands, clients, or categories is a strong plus.
Built From Scratch:
A track record of building a brand's identity and go-to-market from nothing, not only growing an existing one. You can walk us through specific brands or communities you built and the ambassador or community programs you ran.
Lifestyle Category Background:
Prior experience in a lifestyle category such as fashion, health and wellness, outdoor, or hospitality.
Community Marketing:
A clear understanding of grassroots, authenticity-driven marketing as distinct from influencer marketing, and of how to source everyday ambassadors rather than buy reach.
People Skills:
Outgoing and approachable, and genuinely comfortable starting relationships with strangers and communities in person.
Cross-Cultural Communication:
Comfortable giving clear creative direction across a language and culture gap.
Ownership:
Able to take a brand and run with it with minimal oversight.
Commercial Judgment:
Comfortable owning a budget and tying community work to sales.
Team Leadership:
Has hired and led a small team and managed agencies or freelancers. Location & Travel This role is based at our headquarters in Heathrow, Florida (greater Orlando area). Candidates must live within a three-hour drive of the office; how often you are on site depends on your distance from Heathrow and is discussed during the interview process. The role involves travel to launch cities in the U.S. and abroad to build communities and partnerships in person. Why Join You get a builder's mandate with real ownership: the brand, the budget, the team, and the results, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing. You build something new from day one, backed by an established consumer electronics company with national retail reach and an in-house design team. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
