Growth & Digital Marketing Manager Hiring Company :
Harborview Capital Group Reports To :
Chief Financial Officer Location :
Punta Gorda, FL — on-site
Employment Type :
Full-time Compensation :
Commensurate with experience About Harborview Capital Group Harborview Capital Group is a Punta Gorda-based real estate investment firm with a diversified portfolio spanning hospitality, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties, and a track record of investment along Florida's Gulf Coast. The firm partners with municipalities, tenants, and communities to steward and grow the properties it acquires. Position Summary Harborview Capital Group is hiring its first-ever Growth & Digital Marketing Manager — a strategic, one-person marketing function reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This role owns the marketing plan and strategy across Harborview's portfolio of properties and businesses. The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketer who can set strategy and then execute it personally across content, paid advertising, social media, and events, bringing in freelancers or agencies only where it makes sense. This is a rare opportunity to build a company's marketing program from the ground up, backed by an ownership group actively investing in its portfolio's future. What You'll Do Develop and lead a comprehensive, annual marketing plan and strategy across Harborview Capital Group's portfolio of properties and businesses — aligning brand voice and messaging across hospitality, retail, industrial, and mixed-use assets.
Own content marketing:
plan and produce photography, video, blog and email content, and manage property websites to keep messaging current and on-brand. Plan, launch, and manage paid digital advertising campaigns (search, social, display) to drive awareness, leasing/booking activity, and foot traffic across the portfolio, and report on ROI. Manage social media channels across the portfolio — building an editorial calendar, creating and scheduling content, growing engagement, and responding to the community. Market and promote property events and programming to maximize attendance and awareness. Track performance across channels and report key marketing metrics and outcomes to the Chief Financial Officer on a regular cadence. Identify, hire, and direct third-party vendors (photographers, ad specialists, printers, event promotion partners) as needed and within budget. Coordinate with property managers and business partners across the portfolio to align messaging and create cross-promotional opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with local tourism boards, chambers of commerce, and regional media/press contacts. Monitor brand consistency and guest experience across every marketing touchpoint. What We're Looking For A proven track record in growth or digital marketing — we're prioritizing demonstrated skill and results over a specific number of years of experience. Hands-on experience across content marketing, paid digital advertising, and social media management is required. Experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, or destination/place marketing is a strong plus given the scope of this role. Comfort working independently as a department of one, setting strategy and then executing it directly. Working knowledge of digital ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager), social scheduling tools, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite). Experience planning or promoting live events is a plus. Strong writing and visual storytelling skills; photography/video experience is a plus. An analytical mindset — comfortable setting KPIs and reporting on marketing performance. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. First 90 Days (What Success Looks Like)
