Social Media Marketing Manager Job Overview We are seeking a creative, energetic, and highly motivated Social Media Marketing Manager to build and lead the social media presence of National Parks Baseball Resort. This is a unique opportunity to help tell the story of a brand-new destination where baseball, national parks, travel, and family adventure come together . You will be responsible for creating content that captures the excitement of the resort, showcases the experience for players and families, and helps generate awareness, engagement, and registrations. The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller who understands what makes content compelling on social media. You should be comfortable developing content ideas, shooting and editing photos and video, writing engaging copy, managing social platforms, and identifying trends and opportunities that can help the brand grow. You will work closely with resort leadership, baseball operations, coaches, players, families, and onsite staff to capture authentic moments and turn them into content people want to watch, share, and talk about. Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for National Parks Baseball Resort across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels. Create and manage a consistent content calendar leading up to the resort's launch and throughout the annual tournament season. Produce engaging short-form video, photography, graphics, stories, reels, posts, and other social content. Capture the excitement and personality of the resort, including baseball games, players, coaches, families, mascots, national park experiences, facilities, merchandise, events, and behind-the-scenes moments. Develop creative campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, website traffic, and team registrations. Build excitement around the resort's launch and establish National Parks Baseball Resort as a premier destination for youth travel baseball. Create content specifically designed to appeal to 12U and 13U travel baseball coaches, players, and families . Develop recurring content series, social campaigns, contests, giveaways, player features, coach spotlights, mascot content, and other creative initiatives. Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, popular formats, and relevant conversations to identify opportunities for growth. Write compelling captions, headlines, calls to action, and other marketing copy consistent with the National Parks Baseball Resort brand. Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and help build a positive and active online community. Coordinate with resort leadership and other departments to gather stories, announcements, updates, and content opportunities. Work with photographers, videographers, designers, influencers, athletes, coaches, and other partners when appropriate. Help coordinate and manage social media coverage during tournament weeks and major resort events. Track social media performance and provide regular reporting on reach, engagement, follower growth, website traffic, leads, and conversions. Use analytics and performance data to continually improve content and marketing strategy. Help maintain a consistent visual identity and brand voice across all social media channels. Assist with paid social media campaigns and collaborate with marketing leadership on advertising strategy and creative. Identify potential influencers, creators, baseball personalities, coaches, and strategic partners who could help expand the brand's reach. Stay current on youth sports, travel baseball, family travel, national parks, and social media trends. Perform other marketing and communications duties as needed. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience managing social media for a business, brand, sports organization, hospitality company, resort, tourism company, or similar organization. Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other major social platforms. Excellent photography and videography skills, with the ability to capture compelling content using a smartphone and/or professional equipment. Experience creating and editing short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts. Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging social media copy. Creative eye for photography, video, graphic design, branding, and visual storytelling. Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, hashtags, engagement strategies, and content performance. Experience using social media scheduling, analytics, and content management tools. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines. Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with a growing team. Comfortable being onsite and actively capturing content during sporting events and resort activities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact comfortably with children, parents, coaches, athletes, and guests. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or similar creative tools is a plus. Experience with paid social advertising and Meta Ads Manager is highly desirable. Experience in youth baseball, travel sports, hospitality, tourism, outdoor recreation, or national parks is a plus. The right person will see content everywhere—from a player stepping onto a themed baseball field at sunrise, to a family exploring the mountains, to a mascot walking through the resort, to a coach experiencing the tournament for the first time. You won't simply be posting announcements. You'll be helping create the digital personality and culture of National Parks Baseball Resort . Candidates must either live within a reasonable driving distance of Tetonia or be willing to relocate before their employment start date. To support our seasonal operations during the busy summer tournament season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) , onsite housing and meals may be provided for qualified team members, depending on availability and operational needs.
