KW Domain is a Keller Williams market center on Old Woodward in downtown Birmingham. We're home to 240 agents doing roughly $1B in annual sales volume, with a heavy concentration in the luxury end of the Oakland County market. Every dollar of that volume runs through a commission calculation, a disbursement, a ledger, and a monthly close. The Market Center Administrator owns all of it. You'll own the books, the banking, payroll, commission disbursements, agent billing, vendor relationships, the monthly close, and the P&L we run the business from. You'll be the person our leadership team, our ownership group, and our agents rely on for a straight answer about money. And you'll do it in a seat with real authority — you're not routing decisions upstairs, you're making them. What you'll actually do Financial management — the core of the job Full-charge bookkeeping for the market center: A/P, A/R, general ledger, bank and credit card reconciliations Calculate and process agent commission disbursements accurately and on time, every time Run payroll for market center staff Close the books monthly and submit to Keller Williams Realty International on schedule Build and manage the annual budget alongside the Team Leader and ownership Produce and interpret the monthly P&L — and be able to explain to leadership what the numbers are telling us Track agent billing, receivables, and collections, including the uncomfortable conversations Work directly with our CPA on year-end and tax preparation Administer profit share and owner distributions Operations Run the day-to-day operations of the office so the building, the systems, and the technology work without anyone thinking about them Hire, train, and manage administrative support staff Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and purchasing Own the market center's data integrity — agent records, transaction records, KW systems, reporting Maintain compliance standards for transaction files and licensing records Keep the office looking like a place that closes luxury transactions Leadership and agent support Partner with the Team Leader on growth, profitability, and retention — you're a peer at that table, not support for it Onboard new agents into KW systems and get them productive fast Serve as the go-to resource for agents on commissions, billing, systems, and process questions Contribute to the leadership rhythm: weekly meetings, monthly reporting, quarterly planning What you need to have
Non-negotiable:
3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping. You've owned a set of books start to finish. Double-entry, reconciliations, A/P, A/R, payroll, month-end close. You can read a P&L and tell someone what it means. Not just produce it. Advanced Excel. Formulas, pivot tables, building a model from scratch. Demonstrated accuracy under deadline. This role has hard dates that don't move, and agents notice when a commission check is wrong. Direct, professional communication. You'll tell an agent his account is past due and you'll tell leadership when a number doesn't look right. Strong plus, not required: Real estate brokerage, title, mortgage, or property management background Experience with KW systems (Command, WinMORE, or the KWRI reporting stack) Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or business Staff management experience We'll train you on real estate. We won't train you on accounting. If you're a strong bookkeeper who's never worked in a brokerage, apply. Who does well in this seat The best MCAs share a profile. You're methodical and you'd rather do it right than do it fast. You're the person who notices the $40 discrepancy and won't let it go. You build systems instead of working harder inside broken ones. You're steady when the office isn't — March in a real estate office is loud, and the person running the money needs to be the calm one. You also like people. This isn't a back-office job. You'll be in conversation with agents all day, and the ones who thrive here genuinely enjoy that part. This is probably not the job for you if: you want to work from home (this seat is in the building), you prefer a narrow scope with clear boundaries, or you'd rather not be the one people come to with problems. What we offer $55,000-$70,000 base , depending on experience Bonus tied to market center profitability — when the office wins, you win. Your work drives that number directly. Health insurance / PTO / retirement A defined career path. Keller Williams offers formal MCA certification tracks (CMCA, MCOM, MMCOM). A seat at the leadership table from day one Downtown Birmingham. Walk to lunch. How to apply There are two steps, and both matter. Step 1 — Send your résumé and a short note. A few sentences is fine.
Answer one question:
Describe a time you found an error nobody else caught. What was it, how did you find it, and what did you do about it? Step 2 — Take the Keller Personality Assessment, which we'll send after reviewing your resume. The KPA takes about 45 minutes and there's no way to study for it. It's not a test you pass or fail. We use it because this seat has a specific behavioral profile that succeeds in it, and we'd rather know early whether the fit is right than find out six months in. You'll get your own results back, and we'll walk through them with you if we move forward. Apply through this posting or email teamleader@kwdomain.com with the subject line MCA — Birmingham . KW Domain is an equal opportunity employer. Each Keller Williams office is independently owned and operated.
