THE POSITION

Grandview Vineyard is seeking an energetic, organized, and sales-driven Event Sales & Marketing Manager to help grow our wedding and event business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working with people and enjoys the combination of sales, weddings, events, hospitality, and marketing. This is not simply an event-planning position—the successful candidate will be responsible for generating and converting leads, booking weddings and events, managing client relationships, and helping create an exceptional experience from the initial inquiry through the event day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Wedding & Event Sales Respond promptly to incoming wedding and event inquiries. Follow up with prospective clients and convert inquiries into booked events. Conduct venue tours and confidently present Grandview Vineyard to prospective clients. Meet established sales and event booking goals. Manage leads from wedding and event platforms, referrals, social media, and other sources. Manage client workflows and communication through 17hats. Prepare and manage contracts, invoices, deposits, and event calendars. Participate in open houses, bridal shows, networking events, and other sales and marketing opportunities. Wedding & Event Client Management Serve as a primary point of contact for booked wedding and event clients. Manage client communication from booking through the completion of the event. Conduct pre-wedding walk-throughs and finalization meetings. Answer questions about the venue and provide vendor suggestions and guidance. Assist clients with wine and beer selections and alcohol ordering. Communicate with wedding coordinators, vendors, and event professionals to ensure smooth event preparation. Help manage tables, chairs, and other event setup requirements during the week of the event. Maintain clear communication with event hosts, bartenders, and other on-site staff regarding timelines and responsibilities. Assist with scheduling staffing for rehearsals and weddings and fill in as needed. Help ensure weddings and events run smoothly from planning through completion. Vendor & Venue Coordination Serve as a key contact for vendors, wedding coordinators, and event coordinators. Build relationships with potential vendors and contribute to Grandview's preferred vendor program. Marketing, Social Media & Event Promotion Manage lead-generation websites and marketing platforms for Grandview's wedding and event venue. Create and maintain a social media content calendar. Develop engaging photos, videos, and posts that showcase weddings, events, the venue, and the Grandview experience. Gather and organize wedding and event photos for future marketing use. Help increase engagement and positive reviews across relevant social media and online platforms. Participate in bridal shows, open houses, and other promotional events. Help promote Grandview's events through online calendars, social media, press releases, the website, and Facebook. Event Planning & Coordination Assist with the planning, coordination, and promotion of Grandview's special events. Post events to online calendars and assist with related promotional efforts and press releases. Keep event information current on Grandview's website and social media platforms.

Calm, flexible, and solution-oriented when plans change. Passionate about weddings, events, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate required. Related experience in wedding/event sales, event coordination, hospitality, venue management, or a similar field preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be willing and able to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule based on weddings, events, and business needs. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods, including five or more hours during events. RAMP certification is required; training and certification will be provided by Grandview Vineyard. Experience with social media, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and client management systems is preferred.

COMPENSATION

This is a full-time position with an established base salary and the opportunity to earn additional performance-based bonuses. Base salary Quarterly bonuses based on sales performance Additional bonus opportunities based on weddings and events successfully hosted Details of the compensation and bonus structure will be discussed during the interview process.

SCHEDULE & BENEFITS

This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule. Some responsibilities may be completed remotely; however, the position requires on-site availability for venue tours, client meetings, rehearsals, weddings, special events, bridal shows, and other business needs.
