MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Respectfully Unsettled Podcast Respectfully Unsettled Podcast is looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & Social Media Manager to help lead our social media presence, marketing efforts, and overall brand growth. This is a part-time position for someone who is passionate about social media, marketing, content creation, brand partnerships, and growing a media brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Management Manage the podcast's social media platforms and posting schedule Develop creative content ideas and social media strategies Create engaging captions, hooks, and promotional copy Research current social media trends and identify opportunities for growth Help plan content around new episodes, guests, announcements, and campaigns Monitor engagement, reach, and analytics Make recommendations based on social media performance Help grow the podcast's online presence and audience Marketing & Growth Develop marketing strategies to increase podcast visibility and audience growth Research potential sponsors, brands, partnerships, and promotional opportunities Conduct professional outreach to potential partners Build and maintain relationships with potential sponsors and brand partners Identify opportunities for podcast growth and revenue Assist with sponsorship, partnership, and promotional opportunities Track outreach and marketing efforts Team Collaboration Work directly with the Founder and Operations Manager Participate in weekly team meetings Communicate consistently regarding progress, deadlines, and opportunities Collaborate with the podcast's content and production team Bring new creative ideas and strategies to the team Take initiative and independently manage assigned responsibilities
COMPENSATION
Base Pay:
$70/week for up to 5 hours per week. Additional compensation opportunities available based on performance and qualifying business development results.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong communication and organizational skills Creative and knowledgeable about social media trends Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and short-form content Comfortable with marketing outreach and relationship building Self-motivated and able to work independently Reliable, consistent, and professional Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks Comfortable reviewing social media analytics Previous experience in social media management, marketing, brand partnerships, or content creation is preferred A portfolio or examples of previous work are a plus

We're looking for someone who doesn't just post content — we want someone who thinks strategically about how to grow the brand. The ideal candidate will be creative, proactive, and excited about helping build a growing podcast and media brand.
