Job Description

Overview Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyard is seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Director to lead our brand's marketing strategy, elevate our market presence, and drive growth across multiple channels. Role:
This position is an exempt full-time position within our company.
Essential Functions:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong hospitality background and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities. Must be able to delegate responsibilities, organize complex projects, and establish priorities consistent with business objectives and philosophies. Have a positive attitude and a courteous demeanor with all customers, staffers, and vendors. Must be able to work well with others and help with other responsibilities as needed to foster an environment of teamwork.
Additional Duties:
Administrative Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals. Plan, manage, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, events, and advertising. Manage the company's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Create and oversee content marketing initiatives, including website, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Manage marketing budgets and ensure campaigns deliver measurable ROI. Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams to support business development initiatives. Oversee website performance, SEO, SEM, social media, and digital advertising strategies. Track and report on key marketing metrics using analytics tools and recommend improvements. Coordinate relationships with external agencies, vendors, photographers, designers, and media partners. Plan and execute trade shows, community events, promotions, and sponsorships. Lead, mentor, and develop marketing team members when applicable. Strategy Direct, develop, implement, and facilitate marketing strategies, activities, and policies Lead the marketing team through strategy for quarterly and overall projects/goals to increase ROI Oversee social media, email campaigns, and website content management by approving updates and projects completed by the marketing team Provide creative assistance with all content, social media, and design aspects Growth Lead the marketing team through strategy for quarterly and overall projects/goals to increase ROI Perform recurring audits in alignment with all property brand standards,, including annual meetings with every property manager Work alongside EPG Directors for high-level planning Partnerships Collaborate with Public Relations to successfully implement local, regional, and national strategic media placements Manage communications, asset libraries, and advertisements across all 3rd party vendors, i.e., Visit Charlottesville, etc. Responsible for external communications, including requests for partnerships, events, and philanthropic donations Assist property management on the coordination and trades where applicable for special projects and events, i.e., chef collab dinners, pop-ups, venue rentals Digital Marketing + Content Newsletter campaign creation for all CHO properties, varying cadences Monitor and report on CHO newsletter analytics Manage newsletter subscriber lists including weekly uploads Copy audits and edits for all CHO property websites Evaluate search trends that properly optimize for desired keywords for all CHO websites Produce content that is engaging and authentic to increase the ranking of specific keywords (website copy and website blogs) for all CHO websites Manage Pinterest and TikTok accounts, uploading wedding albums and content. Photography Oversee photography strategy including monthly property asset needs and budget Schedule photoshoots in collaboration with property managers/chefs and marketing team Manage all communications including availability, shot lists, and payment with photographers and participating internal team members Create, maintain, and collaborate with the marketing team on a shot list for each property before photoshoots Upload all photography assets to internal Google Drive and tag them accordingly for searchability Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of marketing experience, including campaign management. Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, SEO, and paid advertising. Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Analytical mindset with experience interpreting marketing data and KPIs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Triple Seat, Resy, Eventbrite, and marketing analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
Pay:
From $80,000.00 per year
