Marketing Intern Aesthetx | Marketing | Greenbrae, CA | Part-Time, On-Site | $18/hour 3-month internship (with opportunity for extension or permanent role)

THE OPPORTUNITY

This internship is a hands-on, execution-first role embedded in the Aesthetx marketing team at our Greenbrae location. You will not be filing papers or sitting in the background. You will be shooting content, editing assets, building deliverables, and contributing to real marketing work that shows up in front of real patients. Over three months, you will work closely with our marketing team on the day-to-day marketing function and complete a defined capstone project that you will own from brief through delivery. Strong performance opens the door to an extended role or a permanent position on the team. The ideal intern is creative, scrappy, and comfortable with a camera and a design tool. You don't need to have worked in aesthetics before

• but you need to care about quality, take direction well, and be able to execute independently once you've been briefed.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Capstone Project Every intern completes a defined capstone project over the course of the three months, scoped at the start of the internship based on current Aesthetx marketing priorities.

• Own the full arc of the project: brief, research, production, and final delivery
• Check in with your supervisor at key milestones and incorporate feedback before the final presentation
• Deliver a finished asset or program the Aesthetx team can use immediately Content Creation & Shooting
• Shoot photo and video content on-site at the Greenbrae location
• provider spotlights, behind-the-scenes moments, treatment highlights, and patient lifestyle content (with proper consent)
• Edit photo and video for Instagram, TikTok, Stories, and Reels
• polished, on-brand, and consistent with the Aesthetx visual standard
• Edit short-form video: cuts, transitions, sound selection, captioning, and pacing Static Asset Production
• Build static graphics, story templates, promotional assets, and in-practice collateral using Canva and other approved tools
• Maintain brand consistency across all assets
• correct fonts, colors, logo usage, and tone
• Resize and adapt assets for different placements: feed posts, stories, email headers, and print
• Help maintain the Aesthetx content library
• organized, labeled, and current Marketing Support
• Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks
• scheduling posts, sourcing references, drafting captions, and keeping the content calendar moving
• Research trends, sounds, and formats in the aesthetic medicine and beauty space
• bring ideas and flag opportunities
• Participate in team brainstorms and marketing check-ins as invited
• Take on additional projects as they arise

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in marketing, communications, graphic design, digital media, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Canva
• you can build a polished graphic without starting from a template every time
• Comfortable shooting content on a smartphone and editing to a professional standard
• Short-form video editing experience
• CapCut, InShot, or similar
• Active on Instagram and/or TikTok with a genuine understanding of what performs in the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle space
• Detail-oriented and self-directed
• you can receive a brief and deliver without being managed every step of the way
• Available 2-3 days per week on-site at our Greenbrae location Preferred
• A portfolio or social account to share
• content you've made for a brand, business, or student organization
• Interest in aesthetics, beauty, skincare, or wellness
• you follow this space and think critically about how brands show up in it
• Basic photo editing skills
• Lightroom, Adobe Express, or equivalent
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Later, Sprout Social, or similar) ?
