This role is responsible for coordinating product development activities from concept through production, managing product data, tracking timelines, supporting factory communication, and ensuring new products are delivered on time and within cost targets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Product Development Assist in the development and execution of seasonal product lines from concept through production. Coordinate product samples, revisions, and approvals with internal teams and factory partners. Support creation and maintenance of product specifications, tech packs, and development documentation. Track product development milestones and ensure projects remain on schedule. Work cross-functionally with Product Development, Creative, Licensing, Sales, and Operations teams. Sourcing & Vendor Management Communicate with domestic and overseas factories regarding product development, costing, samples, and production timelines. Assist in sourcing new products, materials, and manufacturing partners. Maintain costing information and support product margin analysis. Track MOQ requirements, production lead times, and supplier capabilities. Help identify opportunities for cost savings and product improvements. Product Data & Systems Maintain accurate product information, including item setups, specifications, UPCs, MPNs, pricing, and packaging details. Prepare and update assortment plans, line lists, and seasonal product trackers. Ensure product data accuracy across internal systems and customer-facing materials. Support catalog and sales presentation preparation. Sample & Project Management Coordinate incoming and outgoing product samples. Maintain sample tracking and organization. Assist with sales meeting preparation, product reviews, and customer presentations. Monitor project timelines and proactively communicate risks or delays. Market & Competitive Analysis Research industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products. Assist in identifying new product opportunities and category expansion initiatives. Support seasonal line reviews and assortment planning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in product development, merchandising, sourcing, project management, or related field. Desire to learn more about product development, sourcing, and merchandising Strong organizational and project management skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in AI tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with overseas suppliers or consumer products preferred. Experience with licensed products, retail, or sports merchandise is a plus.
