Seasonal Paper Goods Work with a company that creates thoughtfully designed, trend-forward paper goods that help people celebrate life's moments. Seasonal collections—ranging from gift wrap and bags to greeting cards and stationery—blend creativity, quality, and commercial appeal. Products are sold everywhere from Target to Walmart to Walgreens. Position Overview We are seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the end-to-end development of seasonal paper goods collections. This role combines product development with strong project management and commercial awareness. You will drive product innovation, develop customer programs, communicate with factories, oversee timelines, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure our assortments resonate with customers while meeting margin and quality targets. Key Responsibilities Develop seasonal product lines including gift wrap, gift bags, tags, greeting cards, and stationery, décor, etc. Manage the product lifecycle from concept through production and delivery Partner with design, sales, and sourcing teams to align on trends, themes, and customer needs Develop product specification briefs, assortments, and line plans based on market insights and sales data Strong excel skills to create and deliver all commercials within the product line plans, to include all product specifications, margins, and where applicable, accounting for tariffs, duties, and customer landed margins Track project timelines and ensure key milestones are met across multiple seasons simultaneously Source materials and work closely with vendors to achieve quality, cost, and sustainability goals Review prototypes, samples, and production runs to ensure product integrity and brand standards Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences to inform new concepts Experience of dealing with factories overseas (Asia) and domestic markets (USA/Mexico) Experience of presenting to major retailer buyers and PD teams Collaborate with merchandising and sales teams to support go-to-market strategies Manage budgets, costing, and pricing strategies to meet margin objectives Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and speed-to-market Qualifications Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in paper goods, stationery, or seasonal products Strong understanding of printing processes, materials, and packaging production Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus) Key Competencies Creative and trend-aware with a strong eye for design Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and execution Strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach Ability to balance creativity with operational discipline What We Offer Opportunity to shape seasonal product lines seen in mass retailers Collaborative, creative work environment Competitive salary and benefits package Growth opportunities within a dynamic company Recruiter Kate Gilman View Kate Gilman's Jobs Benefits offered See Benefits
