Product Development Coordinator:
Fashion & Apparel candidates located near the Manhattan, NY area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
Our client is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent experience.
Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
3-5 years of product design/development experience
Excellent organizational skills.
Proven experience coordinating end-to-end product development timelines, sample management, vendor communication, and cross-functional workflow execution.
Strong background creating and maintaining product data tools including line sheets, classification charts, composite documents, PLM systems, or merchandising databases.
Demonstrated success supporting high-volume, fast-paced retail calendars with multiple seasonal launches and tight deadlines.
Job Overview:
Individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products. Monitors overall development process for product line.
Responsibilities:
Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners. Creates and updates seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
Coordinates workflow of weekly updates to ensure composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising.
Tracks development to ensure execution is within timeframes.
Communicates design development details.
Typically reports to the Product Development Manager. Typically, no direct reports.
