Personally lead engineering projects from concept through production while balancing multiple priorities and timelines. Define project scope, priorities, and technical requirements for new products and product improvements. Partner with Production to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, scalable, and cost-effective. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and other departments by providing technical expertise and ensuring engineering efforts align with business needs. Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve quality, reliability, manufacturability, and the customer experience. You'll do well in this role if you: Take ownership, follow through on commitments, and hold yourself and others accountable. Enjoy leading engineers while staying engaged in the technical work. Can balance long-term product strategy with day-to-day engineering priorities. Thrive in a manufacturing environment where collaboration across departments is essential. Ask thoughtful questions, solve problems at the root cause, and don't settle for quick fixes. Communicate clearly and can build alignment across Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Support. Are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and keeping projects moving forward. Look for opportunities to improve products, processes, and the way teams work. Can manage multiple projects and priorities without losing sight of quality, timing, or the customer. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent engineering experience). 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience leading engineering projects from concept through production. Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising engineers or other technical professionals is preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product development, and design for manufacturability. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation. Experience using customer feedback, field data, and business priorities to guide engineering decisions.
