THE ROLE

This is a rare chance to own a seven-figure advertising budget and build an AI-powered marketing operation from the inside. Last year we discovered something powerful: using an AI program to design and optimize our Google Ads changed everything. We drove our cost per click to the lowest levels we've ever seen, sharply improved the quality of the calls coming in, and made our advertising genuinely work. Now we're looking for the person who can own that capability, sharpen it, and push it further. You'll have real autonomy over strategy, creative, and execution. You'll work directly with the owner. And you'll see your impact in the numbers that matter — cost per acquisition, lead quality, and revenue per dollar spent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Use AI programs to generate, test, and refine Google Ad copy and creative Manage and optimize a multi-million-dollar advertising budget Drive campaign performance across dozens of service territories, city by city Continuously test, learn, and iterate based on live performance data Align ad messaging with our website and operations, down to individual city and town pages Report results in plain, honest numbers — and act on them fast

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Proven experience managing and optimizing paid digital ad campaigns (Google Ads required; Local Services Ads, Meta, or Bing a plus) Demonstrated track record of lowering cost-per-click and/or cost-per-acquisition with measurable before/after results Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to generate, test, or refine ad copy and creative Comfort working with performance data and reporting tools (Google Ads dashboard, Google Analytics, or similar) Self-directed learner — able to point to at least one skill or tool they taught themselves without formal training Strong written communication skills for ad copy, messaging alignment, and reporting to leadership Preferred Experience marketing for a local or multi-location service business (home services, trades, or similar) Familiarity with geo-targeted or location-based campaign structures (city/town-level pages, service area targeting) Background managing a six- or seven-figure ad spend Experience aligning ad messaging with website/landing page content Entrepreneurial or freelance/agency-side experience where they owned outcomes end-to-end Not required but a plus Formal marketing degree or certification (Google Ads cert, etc.) — valued less than demonstrated results Experience in a small business or ownership-operator environment (vs. large corporate marketing team) Experience in home services, HVAC, plumbing, or the trades industry. Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
