Fleet Farm is a leading Midwest retailer serving customers across a wide range of categories, including outdoor recreation, sporting goods, automotive, hardware, home improvement, and everyday essentials. Our ecommerce business continues to grow, creating opportunities for talented digital professionals to help shape how customers discover and shop Fleet Farm online. The SEO Coordinator supports Fleet Farm's organic search strategy by optimizing website content, product and category pages, and technical SEO initiatives. This role combines analytical thinking, customer insights, and digital marketing expertise to improve search visibility, qualified traffic, engagement, and ecommerce performance. You'll work closely with eCommerce, Merchandising, Content, Digital Marketing, IT, and Digital Product teams to identify opportunities, implement SEO improvements, and measure results. This is an opportunity for someone who is curious about how customers search, enjoys turning data into action, and wants to see their work directly influence the ecommerce customer experience. Execute on-page SEO and AEO strategies across product, category, and content pages. Conduct keyword research to understand customer search behavior and identify opportunities aligned with business priorities. Optimize metadata, headings, URLs, internal linking, and page content. Partner with Content and Merchandising teams to improve product descriptions, buying guides, landing pages, and other ecommerce content. Support SEO strategies for new products, seasonal assortments, promotional campaigns, and major site updates. Execute on-page SEO and AEO strategies across product, category, and content pages. Help ensure website changes follow SEO best practices and maintain search relevancy. Coordinate the identification and resolution of SEO issues across cross-functional teams. Monitor website health and identify SEO issues that may affect search visibility. Partner with IT and Digital Product teams on technical SEO initiatives, including crawlability, indexing, page speed, structured data, and mobile experience. Help ensure website changes follow SEO best practices and maintain search relevancy. Coordinate the identification and resolution of SEO issues across cross-functional teams. Stay current on search engine algorithm updates and changes in search behavior. Monitor developments in AI-powered search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) . Evaluate emerging SEO tools, techniques, and industry trends. Recommend opportunities to continuously improve Fleet Farm's organic search strategy. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, eCommerce, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, ecommerce, content marketing, or a related field. Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals and search engine best practices. Experience using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, or similar platforms . Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, SEOClarity, Similarweb, or similar platforms is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. A customer-focused mindset and curiosity about how people search, shop, and interact online.
