Part-Time / Flexible Schedule Available Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator / Assistant to help manage our restaurant's social media presence. This position is primarily focused on posting and maintaining social media content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant channels. Most of the day-to-day work will involve preparing and posting existing content, writing or editing captions, scheduling posts, maintaining a consistent brand image, and keeping our social media accounts active and engaging. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using social media platforms, has a good eye for food and restaurant content, and understands current social media trends. Key Responsibilities Post and schedule content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms Prepare captions, hashtags, and basic post descriptions Organize and manage existing photos and videos for social media use Maintain a consistent brand voice, style, and posting schedule Repurpose existing photos, videos, promotions, and restaurant content into social media posts Monitor comments, messages, and basic customer engagement Keep social media accounts active, updated, and visually consistent Assist with promoting new menu items, special offers, events, and restaurant promotions Monitor current social media trends and identify simple opportunities for new posts Coordinate with the restaurant team to collect photos, videos, promotions, and other content when needed Take basic photos or short videos at the restaurant when necessary Perform basic editing or formatting of content for social media Track basic social media performance and engagement Complete other social media and marketing-related tasks as needed Requirements / Qualifications Comfortable using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms Good understanding of social media posting, captions, hashtags, and basic engagement Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent posting schedule Good written communication skills Creative and interested in food, restaurants, and social media Able to work independently and complete tasks on time Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar tools is a plus Previous experience managing social media accounts is preferred Restaurant, food, hospitality, or marketing experience is a plus Bilingual in English and Chinese (中英文沟通能力 required) Preferred Qualifications Experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or restaurant social media accounts Familiarity with social media scheduling and content management tools Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar editing platforms Understanding of current social media trends Experience with restaurant or food-related social media content Important Note This is primarily a social media posting and account management position. Most responsibilities involve posting, scheduling, organizing, and maintaining social media content. The position does not require advanced photography, professional video production, or extensive content creation skills. Occasional basic photography or short video recording at the restaurant may be requested when needed.
