About Mays Growth Partners We're a marketing agency that helps small local businesses grow online — websites, social media, and local marketing for restaurants, shops, and other businesses across the East Bay. The Role We're looking for a creative, reliable Social Media Marketing Intern to help create and manage content for real client accounts. This is an hybrid, local role in the East Bay. It starts as a 4-week paid internship and converts to an ongoing part-time position for the right person. Compensation

• $400 for the 4-week paid internship (15-20 hours/week)
• Converts to an ongoing part-time role at $20/hour, $500/month minimum, plus upside on future projects
• Company-sponsored training included — we train you on our tools, platforms, and workflows at no cost to you What You'll Do
• Create and schedule posts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) for client accounts
• Write captions, make simple graphics (Canva), and short-form video edits (CapCut)
• Research trends, hashtags, and best posting times
• Light community management — comments and DMs
• Track reach and engagement and share a short weekly recap What We're Looking For
• Genuinely active on social media and understands what performs
• Basic design and video skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar)
• Strong written English; Spanish a big plus (many clients are bilingual)
• Local to the East Bay and able to meet in person
• Organized, self-starting, and reliable
