Contract | Flexible Schedule | $20/hour Friendly Donuts is looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Coordinator to bring a fresh perspective to our social media presence! We're looking for someone who naturally understands social media, loves creating content, and knows how to turn a donut into content people want to stop and watch. This person will help us consistently create, post, and engage across our social platforms while bringing new ideas and a fresh eye to our brand. What You'll Do Create approximately 3-4 pieces of photo/video content per week Film and photograph donuts, drinks, behind-the-scenes moments, staff, events, and day-to-day content Post to our social media 5 days per week Stay on top of current social media trends, sounds, formats, and content styles Come to content days with new creative ideas for how to promote our donuts, products, and brand Edit short-form videos and photos for social media Write engaging captions and help maintain a consistent brand voice Respond to comments, engage with followers, and interact with relevant accounts Help identify opportunities for trending or timely content Work alongside our photographer during monthly content shoots Help keep our social media content fresh, consistent, and engaging Monthly Content Shoot We currently have a monthly photography/content shoot with our photographer. You must be available to attend these shoots, which are typically scheduled for the second-to-last Saturday or Sunday of the previous month to prepare content for the upcoming month. What We're Looking For Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends A creative eye for shooting video and photography Someone who can walk into a content day with ideas rather than waiting to be told what to film Experience creating short-form social media content Comfortable filming with an iPhone Newer-model iPhone with a good-quality camera required Experience with video/photo editing platforms such as CapCut, iMovie, or similar — your preferred editing platform is totally fine Strong attention to detail Good communication and organization Ability to work independently and meet weekly posting expectations Food, fashion, lifestyle, or hospitality content experience is a plus How to Apply - via indeed or see below!
