Join Our Growing Team Megagoods, Inc. is a well-established and rapidly growing distributor and manufacturer of consumer products, specializing in kitchenware, housewares, consumer electronics, and lifestyle brands. As we continue to expand our product catalog and retail partnerships, we are growing our Content Department and are seeking a talented Product Content & Photography Specialist to join our team in Santa Clarita. About the Role This position combines professional product photography , photo editing , and product content management into one dynamic role. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality product photography, editing and organizing digital assets, and ensuring that product information across multiple sales channels is complete, accurate, and visually compelling. You'll collaborate closely with our Product Development, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to support new product launches and maintain our growing product catalog. The ideal candidate has both a technical and creative mindset, with the ability to produce clean, consistent product photography while ensuring product information is accurate and complete across multiple sales channels. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential. Primary Responsibilities Product Photography Photograph products in a studio environment for eCommerce, catalogs, packaging, and marketing materials. Set up and operate DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment. Configure studio lighting, backgrounds, and product staging. Ensure consistent lighting, color accuracy, composition, and image quality. Assist in developing photography standards for various product categories. Organize and maintain photography equipment and digital image libraries. Image Editing Edit, retouch, crop, and optimize product images using Adobe Photoshop. Remove backgrounds, color correct, and prepare images for multiple retail platforms. Organize digital assets and maintain image naming conventions. Ensure all images meet internal quality standards and retailer specifications. Product Content Management Create, edit, and maintain product listings across internal systems and online marketplaces. Verify product specifications, dimensions, materials, features, and attributes. Conduct detailed product research to ensure content accuracy and completeness. Review product descriptions and technical information for consistency. Identify and correct missing or inaccurate product information. Maintain product data integrity across multiple systems. Collaboration Work closely with Purchasing, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service. Assist with product launches and catalog updates. Proactively communicate data inconsistencies or product issues. Participate in ongoing content improvement initiatives. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects with minimal supervision. They possess excellent attention to detail, enjoy solving problems, and have a passion for creating professional product imagery while maintaining accurate product information. Required Qualifications 2+ years of professional product photography experience Strong proficiency with Adobe Photoshop Experience operating DSLR or mirrorless camera systems Knowledge of studio lighting techniques and product styling Experience editing and retouching product photography Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Portfolio demonstrating product photography and image editing experience is required Preferred Qualifications Adobe Illustrator experience Adobe Lightroom or Capture One experience Experience with eCommerce product content management Experience with Product Information Management systems Experience creating product listings for online retailers Experience photographing kitchenware, housewares, consumer electronics, or similar consumer products Basic understanding of color management for print and web What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in producing exceptional work. Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
