Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will beresponsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across the company's social media platforms to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and strengthen customer relationships. This role combines creativity with analytical skills to develop campaigns that support overall marketing and business objectives.
Responsibilities Content Strategy and Planning:
Build and run content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and brand goals Take the launch, the story, and the strategic angle, then decide how it actually shows up on each platform Develop educational and edutainment content that gives our audience a reason to follow, save, and share Bring ideas to the table. Trends worth chasing, formats worth testing
Creation and Editing:
Write copy and captions that sound like the brand, not like an ad Shoot and edit photo and video content, both product and behind-the-scenes Edit in Canva, CapCut, Adobe, and photo editing tools Use AI tools actively in your workflow to move faster and test more Create homepage banners, collection page headers, and promo graphics Resize and export product and lifestyle imagery to spec Help design email graphics, headers, and banners
Community Management:
Stay on top of comments and DMs across accounts Manage tagging, reposting, and relationships with studios and customers who post our product Source and organize UGC and creator content Flag customer questions, complaints, and product feedback to the appropriate internal team Working with the creative team: Write clear briefs for our graphic designers and video editors: what we need, for which brand, for which placement, by when Keep asset requests, revisions, and approvals moving so nothing stalls Reporting and iteration: Weekly and monthly performance reporting across socials Track what each platform is rewarding right now and adjust weekly Bring a point of view to the numbers. What worked, what didn't, what we're changing, and why Other duties as assigned Experience What You Bring
2+ years running social media accounts
Proven ability to write in a brand voice
Comfort working in Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, and photo editing software
Photo and video shooting ability and experience
Active, hands-on use of AI tools in your actual workflow
Fluency with platform analytics and the ability to explain what the numbers mean in plain language
A point of view. You can look at a launch brief and say what you'd do differently, and defend it
Organized. You track your own deadlines and other people's
Genuinely online.
You keep up with trends and the social media landscape and know what's working on each platform
Strong Preferred:
Experience in the piercing or body jewelry industry, in any capacity. Piercers, studio staff, and shop managers are strongly encouraged to apply
Short-form video editing with a track record of views
Photography or studio lighting experience
