College Work-Study Social Media and Public Relations Assistant for Leadership Macomb Macomb Community College - 4.1 Clinton Township, MI Job Details $16.08 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Newsletters (communication methods) Community relationship building Community college experience Full Job Description Job Function Assist with the outreach to Leadership Macomb Alumni, participants, and supporters through Leadership Macomb's social media channels, website and newsletter in addition to assist with public relations and marketing activities. This is an off-campus position located in Shelby Township near 23 Mile Road and Schoenherr Road and remotely as needed. Job Responsibilities Assist in updating and managing the organization's various social media channels to help promote Leadership Macomb Create unique content for posting to social media and website Assist with the creation and maintenance of monthly social media metric reports Help to research and discover new social media channels in which to engage our audience Find and cultivate appropriate social media relationships and contacts Create and distribute press releases Create content for monthly e-newsletter Assist in planning and coordinating events Assist in developing collateral material for organization's programs Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Customer Service, online marketing or writing experience preferred. Experience with graphic design and photo editing software not required, but useful.
