In this dynamic role, our BDC & Social Media Agent is responsible for leading the dealership's Business Development Center while developing and executing a consistent social media strategy that increases brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. This role ensures every customer inquiry receives timely, professional follow-up while maintaining a strong online presence that reflects the dealership's values and inventory. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, data-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced automotive environment. Duties Respond promptly to all internet, text, chat, and social media inquiries. Schedule and confirm customer appointments for the sales department. Follow dealership processes for lead management and customer follow-up. Maintain accurate customer information within CRM. Monitor daily lead activity and ensure all leads receive timely responses. Track appointment show rates, sold appointments, and conversion metrics. Develop and maintain follow-up campaigns for unsold prospects and previous customers. Coordinate with the sales management team to improve lead response times and appointment conversion. Create and maintain department reports for dealership leadership. Assist with equity mining, service-to-sales opportunities, and customer retention initiatives. Ensure compliance with dealerships policies and OEM standards. Develop & Maintain the dealership's social media calendar. Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and other platforms. Photograph and record vehicle inventory, dealership events, customer deliveries, and employee highlights. Design promotional graphics and marketing materials. Write captions and calls-to-action that encourage engagement and generate leads. Respond to customer comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate social media campaigns with dealership sales events and OEM incentives. Track all social media analytics and recommend improvements based on performance. Stay current on digital marketing trends and emerging social media platforms. Work with management to maintain consistent branding across all marketing channels.
