Job Description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Summary The Office of Peace & Justice is seeking an energetic and motivated Catholic committed to social justice, Catholic Social Teaching, and the eradication of poverty for a paid internship supporting the Catholic Campaign for Human Devolvement.

Job Responsibilities This part-time intern will work 10-15 hours per week for 24 weeks during a period from September through May. Intern responsibilities include assisting the St. Louis CCHD diocesan director in educating members of the community regarding poverty and Catholic Social Teaching (CST), organizing and helping to staff events for youth and young adults, promoting the CCHD grant program and the annual collection that supports it, maintaining social media, discovering new potential organizations to fund, promoting social justice and anti-poverty work, and assisting in the evaluation of potential grantees.
