Mary Jane's Farmacy's is looking for our first dynamic, photoshop-savvy Social Media Wizard to join our expanding team! As our Social Media & Marketing Specialist, you'll execute all social media presence by planning, creating, and posting content that drives engagement and builds brand identity. The ideal candidate will have a strong professional background in cannabis social media content creation, have an understanding of our highly regulated industry, and possess excellent communication skills. We see this as a part-time role requiring 15-20 hours a week, but if looking for full-time we can also schedule budtending/delivery shifts. Social Media Responsibilities Develop and execute our social media content strategy on Instagram and other relevant platforms. Create high-quality, engaging content including photos, videos, reels, and stories Be on-site weekly to capture real-time content (store, team, product drops, raffles, customer experience) Write captions that align with brand voice and drive engagement Manage the Posting Schedule and ensure consistency. To start we expect 2-3 posts a week. Monitor comments, DMs, and community engagement Stay current on trends and identify opportunities to keep Mary Jane's Farmacy relevant and visible Ensure all content remains compliant with Oregon cannabis marketing regulations Marketing Responsibilities Must be proficient in photoshop to create promotional material, store signage, and jar labels Communicate with our web design team to ensure website gets updated with promotional material and announcements Create and manage our event calendar while reaching out to vendors to schedule pop-ups and in-store events Assist with taking product photos for online menu If interested in full-time,
Budtender Responsibilities:
Strong customer service and communication skills Maintain in-depth knowledge of all strains and products in-store inventory as well as industry-wide product and trend knowledge Identify customer needs, answer questions about our products & make recommendations while providing accurate information Greet customers with enthusiasm as soon as they walk in the door Cross and/or upsell products Coordinate with manager to ensure racks are fully stocked and product is available Coordinate with the rest of team to provide excellent customer service during peak times Inform customers about discounts and special offers Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager Label and/or sticker items for retail sale Roll joints and clean up budget flower in downtime Restock job supplies Light cleaning duties Other duties as assigned by the
Management Team Qualifications and Requirements:
Exceptional Customer Service skills Fun attitude and strong work ethic Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality Must have a reliable method of transportation to get to work Must possess a Marijuana Workers' Permit or the ability to obtain one at your own expense Lift up to 40 pounds and stand for the entirety of a full shift Minimum twenty-one (21) years of age Must possess a valid driver's license or government Identification (ID) Must pass any and all required background checks
