About the Role The Social Media intern will work closely with our Senior Social Media Strategist to develop and execute social media content for Altitude's growing roster of B2B clients. From crafting compelling copy to designing scroll-stopping visuals, you'll have a hand in the full content lifecycle — ideation, creation, and delivery. If you're a creative, curious, and detail-oriented self-starter who wants to learn the craft of B2B social media from the ground up, this paid internship is for you. Altitude is a close-knit group that works collaboratively, and our social media efforts are always in service to a broader strategy. All of our interns do actual work for our clients — not busy work — and get the benefit of being immersed in a real agency experience. You'll walk away with a portfolio of published work and a clear understanding of what it takes to build a brand's social presence in the B2B space. Key Accountabilities Campaign Development Assist the Senior Social Media Strategist with campaign planning, development, and execution across B2B clients Collaborate with content writers and designers to ensure creative consistency across channels Copywriting Draft social media copy for clients across platforms with direction from the Senior Social Media Strategist Write sharp, on-brand content tailored to each client's voice, audience, and platform Assist with editing and refining copy through the internal review process Graphic Design Design social media visuals using Canva to support posts, campaigns, and client brand guidelines Develop and maintain branded social media templates for new and existing clients Research & Trend Monitoring Research social media trends relevant to B2B brands and industries Monitor platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats Translate trend insights into actionable recommendations for client accounts Qualifications College Junior or Senior majoring in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or a related field Strong writing skills with an eye for design and visual storytelling Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn Experience with Canva or similar design tools preferred but not required Exposure to HubSpot or other marketing platforms is a plus Minimum 10 hours per week in our office in Emmaus, PA What You'll Walk Away With Published social media content in your portfolio Hands-on experience with industry tools including Canva and HubSpot A firsthand understanding of how B2B social media strategy is built and executed Mentorship from experienced social media and marketing professionals Exposure to a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment At Altitude, we value creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
